Boulder B-cycle To Operate This Winter

Good news, cyclists! Boulder B-cycle is now staying open for the entire winter season.

Whether you use Boulder B-cycle for the end of your commute, running errands, short trips to town or just having fun, now you can take part in Boulder’s bike-sharing program all year long.
In addition to being available year round, the program is also growing through the addition of two new stations on 33rd and Fisher and Broadway and Iris, with plans for more stations in the future.

Boulder B-cycle is a nonprofit that was formed to create a green and healthy transportation system in Boulder. To take part in the program, all you have to do is pay an access fee for the amount of time you think you will be riding the bike, from 24 hours to the entire year. Then all you have to do is pick up a bike at any station and ride! You can return your bicycle at any other station, and as long as the trip was under one hour, you don’t have to pay any additional fee. You can ride as often as you want within your allotted time period. Helpful tip: if you want to ride for over an hour, you can check your bike into any station and start a new 60-minute ride.

With well-maintained bikes that always ready to ride, many local residents have found that Boulder B-cycle is a great way to exercise and reduce their carbon footprint without having to purchase and maintain a bicycle of their own.
